Vintage Plush

I was born in the 70's, my childhood in the 80's through 90's. Some of these plush animals and toys are mine, some from my children born in the 2000's, and others I've found at garage sales, and thrift stores over the years all in great condition. I'm always on a treasure hunt for anything reminsenct of my childhood that takes me back to young memories. That feeling you get when you see something from the past and you say to yourself "I remember that, I had one of those when I was little. Or "I wish I could of had one of those growing up." Well these plush animals are for sale. For new owners that I hope enjoy them as much as I do. Good Vibes and Happy treasure hunting.

Penguin theme

I put together a Penguin theme for my Heidi Swapp planner January layouts and embellishments. I used my Create a Critter Cricut cartridge for the penguin, igloo and fish. The set includes a penguin layout, penguin notepad, penguin snowflake card, shaker card, snowflake charm paperclips, 3x7 pocket card, and page

Thankful Tree

Today at  work we had our Annual Thanksgiving PotLuck. Our company provides turkey and ham to all the employees and we bring the side dishes. This year I involved my co-workers in a Thanksgiving craft. I created a Thankful Tree.
We all wrote what we are thankful for on a paper leaf and hung them on a branch.
I made this layout using the new Winter Wonderland Cartridge on my Cricut machine. Along with some sunflowers and a beaded stick pin.

Pine Cone Potpourri Basket

Although Christmas is fast approaching we must remember to be thankful for all our blessings. Which I have so many in my life with family at the top of the list. The changing of the leaves, reds, oranges and yellows, and cooler breezy weather has me seeking out the warmth and comfort of earth tones in these up-cycling projects.
I added gold glitter to the tips of these large pine cones to add some sparkle to a fall potpourri filled basket.
